With informed consent, methods are used where they appear clinically appropriate, with attention to safety, clarity and respect for each person's experience.
Treatment is evidence-based or evidence-informed.
It is intended to integrate with—not replace—ongoing psychological therapy and medical care. We welcome referrals where the referring clinician intends to continue working with the patient.

My psychiatric speciality (Consultation Liaison Psychiatry) is at the interface between Western physical medicine, neurology and psychiatry.
My approach includes psychiatry while also integrating psychotherapy approaches and selected body-based approaches where appropriate, tailored to the individual.

We encourage you to continue receiving standard care from your existing practitioners such as medical doctors, prescribing psychiatrists, psychologists and psychotherapists.
This work is "as well as" rather than "instead of".
It is integrative and complementary.

You don't need to figure everything out before reaching out.
An initial consultation can clarify:
- What’s actually going on
- Whether this approach is a good fit
- What direction makes the most sense
The techniques used depend on the individual person.
More integrative and resourcing therapies include Deep Brain Reorienting and Traumatic Incident Reduction.
In general, shamanistic approaches are less suitable for people who have experienced psychosis or have a very fragile sense of self, such as those with severe unresolved traumatic experiences.
